We all expected Day 6 to be one of the easier days. However maybe because of the days that had come before – it very much didn’t feel like that. It started off easy enough as we left Caernarfon and followed a cycle path towards the Menai Bridge which was well paved and fairly flat until the ride down towards the bridge itself. It is at this point one of the teams’ brakes decided to give up just as we approached a boat stuck in the middle of the road See photo below. All the padding had been completely worn away probably due to the battering they had received from the down hills over the last few days. This resulted in a quick detour into the nearest bike shop for a quick repair. Once completed we continued towards Trearddur Bay our final destination. This journey whilst beautiful was very convoluted and full or small ups and downs that were very tiring. At around 4.30pm we reached the hotel we were staying at and had all finally completed the Lon Las Cymru trail.
