Day 5: Penmaenpool to Caernarfon

Day 5 was expected to be an easier day than the previous day, as although long in terms of mileage the route was much flatter. However, mother nature had decided that we had far too much sunshine and that we were all in need of a fair drowning.  In the morning from our overnight stop until Harlech the pathways and roads were fairly flat and whilst it was drizzling it made for pleasant riding conditions. However, in the afternoon this all changed, and we had horizontal torrential rain making cycling extremely difficult. We were all glad when we finally arrived at our accommodation in Caernarfon.
